Provide essential support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities for individuals in a residential group home. Responsibilities include medication administration, transporting individuals to community activities, and maintaining accurate documentation of care.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with at least one year of experience. Candidates should have experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and be able to obtain MAP and CPR/First Aid certifications.
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to accurately follow care plans, document services provided, and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals. Experience in providing training, case management and appropriate service delivery to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in the community. MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 6 months of employment. CPR/First Aid; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 3 months of employment. Valid Driver’s License in good standing with a minimum of one year of driving experience.
