The role involves obtaining accurate home medication histories through patient interviews and external coordination. The technician is responsible for entering and maintaining this data within the Epic electronic medical record system.
Applicants must be a high school graduate with a current PTCB certification or be a Licensed Practical Nurse. A minimum of one year of experience in a pharmacy or medication administration setting is required.
Full-time | Variable hours + 8 hour-shifts + weekend & holiday rotations + no travel & no on-call.

The pharmacy unit plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. The unit is responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, maintaining comprehensive medication inventory and control, including narcotics and controlled substances. This includes selecting, calculating, measuring, preparing (both sterile and non-sterile), packaging, labeling, charging, and crediting various pharmacy products like intravenous medications. In addition, the pharmacy ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
