Renders professional nursing care to patients in the CathLab, in support of medical care directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital.
Work encompasses direct and indirect nursing care.
Performs a variety of duties involving patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
This includes patient monitoring, evaluation of lab work and continuous monitoring of vital signs.
Directs age specific nursing activities during emergency situations.
