The Cytotechnologist is responsible for screening gynecological and non-gynecological slides and performing all facets of cyto-preparation. They also maintain quality assurance programs and ensure compliance with CAP and NCCLS standards.
Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree plus one year of training from an accredited School of Cytotechnology. Candidates must be CT (ASCP) registered and proficient in English communication.
Read, write and communicate in English. An Associates or Bachelor's Degree (copy of degree or transcript required) plus or including one (1) full year in an accredited School of Cytotechnology. CT (ASCP) registered. Employees with five years' experience will be expected to perform QA/QC when asked.
