Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Occupational Therapist (OT) helps coordinate evaluation, treatment and clinical activities in the provision of occupational therapy so that effective and optimum quality of patient care is delivered.
Graduation from a school of Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree and successful completion of clinical internship requirements.
Current California Occupational Therapist licensure required. Candidates who have applied for licensure and are legally authorized to practice under supervision (e.g., limited permit or license-pending status) may be considered.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Masters degree preferred.
One year of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of Occupational therapy procedures and techniques required for providing routine inpatient, SNF and outpatient Occupational Therapy evaluations and treatments.
Knowledge of infection control procedures.
Knowledge of proper body mechanics.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, current California licensure, and BLS certification. A master's degree and one year of professional experience are preferred.
