Job Summary

• Responsible for care of patient in operating room.
• Provides and ensures safe and therapeutically effective patient care.
• Maintains work area.
• Participates in 24-hour call coverage.
• Responsible for preparing, assembling and maintenance of operating room instrumentation and equipment.
• Responsible for scrubbing a wide variety of surgical cases.

Education and Training

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Licensures/ Certifications

• Washington State Surgical Tech license required. Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire.

Experience

• Two years of previous scrub experience, required.
• Additional medical background/previous hospital experience, preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency.
• Able to work well both individually and in a team.
