Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist. Provide specialized patient care across all age groups, from neonatals to geriatrics.
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT accredited program with at least 6 months of experience. Required certifications include ARRT registration and BCLS.
Overview This position is for a PRN CT Tech at our facility in Thomson, GA. The schedule is variable.
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
Education Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required Work Experience 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required Licenses and Certifications ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Business
