Provides advanced practice healthcare services for newborn nursery patients, including stabilization and transition of Level II patients. Collaborates with clinical directors and supervises support staff while ensuring timely documentation of all services.
Requires certification from ANCC or AANP and valid RN and APRN licenses from the Texas Board of Nursing. Must be proficient in NRP guidelines and capable of independent practice within the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON) Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in a nurse practitioner clinical area of specialization by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON) Salary: Commensurate with Experience
