The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room and scrubbing in to assist surgeons during procedures. They must maintain strict aseptic techniques and manage the accurate count of surgical supplies and instruments.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program and possess 1-2 years of operating room experience. CST certification is preferred along with proficiency in various surgical specialties.

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
