The Admissions Counselor performs telephonic and in-person risk assessments and crisis interventions for potential patients. They coordinate the intake process, determine the appropriate level of care, and maintain communication with families and referral sources.
A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required, while a Master's degree is preferred. Experience with intake and crisis intervention for substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations is preferred.
