The Activities Aide provides meaningful activities to residents to support their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. They assist the Activities Supervisor and Assistant in maintaining the department's functions and steady flow of activities.
Candidates must be able to direct group activities and understand federal and state regulations regarding long-term care and gerontology. Proficiency in spoken and written English and basic computer skills are required.

MVH - Augusta is currently looking for an Activities Aide. The Activities Aide is responsible for providing meaningful activities to the residents and works collaboratively with the Activities Supervisor to maintain a steady flow of activities that are designed to meet the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.
This is a per diem opportunity, up to 20 hours/week, days with occasional evenings for events.

Must be able to direct small and large group activities, including directing volunteers in the provision of quality services to the residents. Must possess interest in activities and working with geriatric individuals. Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
