Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience within a healthcare setting is required.
Overview The Administrative Services Coordinator I, provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Social Work Department, including front office operations, records management, payroll and scheduling coordination, and documentation support. Assists with data entry and reporting for grant and funding requirements, supports staff compliance with documentation and safety procedures, and serves as a resource for basic technology, office equipment, and operational coordination to support clinical services and staff efficiency.
1. Responsible for clerical and administrative tasks, including answering telephones, typing NBU screening documents and correspondences to parents, mail pick-up and delivery, filing, ordering and maintaining adequate supplies, and petty cash. 2. Provides administrative support by assisting with the identification and location of policies and procedures related to areas of safety by the Social Work Department.3. Responsible for entering information in the National Information and Reporting Systems (NIRS) and communicating with clinical staff to obtain additional information that is needed for submission for Institute grant funding ; will present during monthly staff meetings the importance of reporting presentations to help ensure that the Institute will continue to obtain additional funding.4. Track staff attendance and updates the UKG payroll information on a bi-weekly basis.5. Prepare inpatient social work records/files for each admitted patient and provides verification to staff regarding discharge report tracking.6. Distribute adult consent fact sheet to patients through EPIC and collaborate with staff to ensure required documentation is obtained prior to initiation of services.7. Develop and maintain on-call schedule for weekend and after-hours staff.8. Provide basic computer consultation for inpatient staff and acts as coordinator while providing the Help Desk with assistances as needed. 9. Provides basic office equipment maintenance and coordinates service requests when necessary.10. Support in implementation of site safety procedures by assisting clinical staff with planning and reviewing safety practices related to clinical care and supporting staff and patient safety initiatives.
EDUCATION:High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent is required. EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience working in a healthcare setting is required. Minimum pay range USD $45,059.66/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $75,603.63/Yr.
