Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care within a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthetic care to patients across various surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients and the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Evaluate patients' medical histories and develop appropriate anesthesia plans Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after anesthesia Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals Manage any complications or adverse reactions to anesthesia Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Provide guidance and education to nursing staff and trainees Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee Board certification in Anesthesiology Experience in an anesthesiology practice or clinical setting Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts

No call requirement

Setting: Onsite

Daily Volume: 15-25 blocks per day

Case Types

Lumbar blocks, cervical blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator, transparametal, and other bread and butter cases

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
