The mammography technologist will perform diagnostic imaging functions as described in the staff technologist job description. In addition, the mammography technologist will perform mammographic imaging and assume QA/QC responsibilities. The mammography technologist must be self-motivated, use independent judgement and be able to work with minimum supervision. The mammography Technologist must be uniquely empathetic to high stress situations.

Candidates must be ARRT registered radiographers and either certified in mammography or eligible to become certified within six months. A BLS certification and completion of a JCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist program are required.
