Job Requirements

Join one of the nation’s leading cardiac surgery programs at the University of Maryland Medical Center, a high-volume academic medical center renowned for complex and innovative cardiac surgical care. As a member of our Advanced Practice Provider team, you will work alongside world-class cardiac surgeons and a collaborative multidisciplinary team, managing a diverse and challenging patient population in an environment that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and team-based care. This is an exceptional opportunity for APPs who are passionate about cardiac surgery and committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care. New graduate APPs are welcome to apply.

This position is in the Cardiac Surgery department in an inpatient setting, with some cross coverage for ambulatory care. This position operates on a rotating schedule of 13-hour day shifts, including rotating weekend coverage. Home call coverage is shared on a rotating basis among team members.

Work Experience Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license for the State of Maryland
