University of Maryland Joseph Medical Center (UM-SJMC), a member hospital of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their inpatient Spine Surgery team of 4 surgeons and 6 APPs.
This position manages patients pre-and post-spine surgery both in the office, peri-operatively in the hospital, including first-assisting in the OR.
M-F (office hours, First Assisting in OR), night and weekend call 1-2 years of Spine surgery care experience highly preferred NP’s must have Acute Care certification & RNFA Will consider new graduates Competitive base salary, including malpractice insurance SJMC is a CMS 5-Star, Leapfrog Grade ‘A’ hospital and ranked the #1 community hospital in Maryland by the U.S.
