Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

• Job Requirements Manage patients on the hospitalist service overnight.
• Collaborate with the nursing staff, overnight nocturnist physician, and other providers.
• Attend any rapid responses, Code Blue, Code Green calls to areas covered to provide information to the team.
• Document interventions and evaluations in the medical record.
• Communicate timely with the overnight physician and on-coming day time providers

Work Experience Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program (required) Active Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (required) Active Maryland ACNP/AGACNP/PA License (required) Active, unrestricted CDS and DEA license (required) Current BLS certification (required) Current ACLS certification (preferred) 2 years experience as hospitalist (preferred)
