The Pathologist Assistant performs surgical pathology examinations, including the gross description and dissection of specimens. They also assist with frozen sections, autopsies, and the training of residents and students.
A Master's degree from an accredited Pathologists' Assistant program and national registry certification are required. Preference is given to candidates with six months of professional experience and teaching experience.
A Master's degree from an accredited Pathologists' Assistant program is required. Must be certified by a national registry or attain such registry within one year from the date of hire.
Six months of professional experience assisting with surgical pathology examinations and autopsies is preferred. Teaching experience is preferred. Procedures, dissection, and human anatomy are required.
