The provider will perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and document treatment plans for patients with complex orthopaedic injuries. They will also act as a liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate pre- and post-operative care in both clinic and hospital settings.
Candidates must hold a valid Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license for the State of Maryland. The role requires the ability to work in a high-acuity trauma environment within a multidisciplinary team.
Interview patients for health history and perform physical examination Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests Document H & P, progress notes, and treatment plans Act as liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care as well as pre- and post-operative care. Caring for patients in both the clinic and hospital setting. Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetings
Work Experience Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license for the State of Maryland
