About the role

The LPN is responsible for conducting nursing assessments, administering medications, and delivering care according to detoxification protocols for adult clients. They also support medical providers and maintain strict documentation and confidentiality within a residential substance use treatment setting.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team and support the medical needs of adult clients in residential substance use treatment. The LPN plays a key role in client care through nursing assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the broader clinical team. We are open to hiring new nurses and happy to provide any training necessary!

  • Key responsibilities
  • Conduct initial nursing assessments for new admissions
  • Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and side effects
  • Deliver care in alignment with detoxification protocols
  • Complete COWS and CIWA assessments in accordance with protocols
  • Provide education to clients regarding medications and health conditions
  • Support medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments
  • Maintain proper documentation and uphold strict confidentiality
  • Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely
  • Support overall facility operations with professionalism and compassion
  • Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification required
  • Experience: Experience preferred but open to new nurses as well. Training provided!
  • Preferred: Background working with co-occurring disorders and detox protocols

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Base Pay

  • $34–$35/hour (based on experience)

Candidates must hold an active, unencumbered LPN license in Massachusetts and current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications. While experience with co-occurring disorders and detox protocols is preferred, the facility is open to hiring and training new nurses.
