The Assessment Counselor assists the clinical team by completing Level of Care Assessments (LOCA) and supporting the admissions and intake process. They coordinate with licensed counselors and managed care providers to ensure appropriate client placement and treatment planning.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree from an accredited college in a clinical discipline that includes a clinical practicum. Alignment with the organization's CORE values of integrity, dedication, collaboration, and passion is expected.
Introduce and explain the Level of Care Assessment (LOCA) process to clients Collect demographic and clinical history information relevant to the LOCA Explain and facilitate signatures for Releases of Information (ROI) and admission paperwork Support the admission process by coordinating with Licensed Counselors when clients are ready for the clinical portion of the LOCA Gather information and complete precertification for managed care clients when applicable Assist in identifying appropriate placement for clients Collaborate with therapists, admissions, and marketing teams Participate in case consultation with the clinical team Maintain up-to-date scheduling in collaboration with admissions Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Education, Licensure & Experience Master’s Degree from an accredited college in a clinical discipline that includes a clinical practicum Pyramid CORE Values: We are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
