About the role

The therapist provides clinical support for an Intensive Outpatient program, focusing on group, individual, and family therapy for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and managing utilization reviews and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Outpatient Co-Occurring Therapist (a Licensed Therapist) is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Outpatient program including, but not limited to: administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy for populations with mental heatlh and substance use disorders, case management, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. The Outpatient Therapist will conduct group therapy as well as some individual and family therapy. Will create treatment plans and updates as part of an interdisciplinary team approach. The Outpatient Therapists will be working with potentially all of the populations that we serve. Qualifications

Qualifications/Job requirements

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinically related mental health field.

Experience

Prefer two (2) years clinical experience in a psychiatric facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. This time in the field can include practicum and internship studies or work at a mental health institution while an undergraduate. This position requires minimum 1 year substance use disorder treatment experience.

License

Must be licensed (or under supervision) as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, in Indiana.

Additional

Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.

The

Therapist must be willing to work 8:00a-4:30p and possibly some flexible hours. This is an exempt salaried position. We do a very thorough screening process to include drug testing, CPS check, etc. Will practice SERVICE EXCELLENCE on a daily basis!!!
