Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Evenings - $2,000 Sign-on Bonus

Position Summary

The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

Hours: 3pm to 11pm, 5 days per week, rotating weekends

Qualifications

Requirements

Education: Graduate from a Vocational School of Nursing Accredited by the State Board of Nursing.

Experience

Minimum one (1) year as a /LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Licensure

• Licensed to practice Vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians.
• Additional
• Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) including restraint and seclusion policies and Verbal De-escalation before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
