The LVN provides nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on treating adults and seniors with psychiatric and personality disorders in a mental health facility.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Vocational School of Nursing and hold a valid LVN license. CPR certification and completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training are required.
The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
Hours: 3pm to 11pm, 5 days per week, rotating weekends
Education: Graduate from a Vocational School of Nursing Accredited by the State Board of Nursing.
Minimum one (1) year as a /LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.
