• Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant (HS)-Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Department: Medicine | IM Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies within the College of Medicine (COM) Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Pulmonary Critical Care with oversight from the Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.
• Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.
• Experience Required No experience is required for this position Desired Experience and Skills 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

Additional Information

This is a patient facing role and is required to be onsite and working in the hospital. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required as dictated by the approved clinical research trial/study. Being on call will be required and is determined based on staffing.
