Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Infusion Center and assist with Telehealth appointments. Maintain a clean therapeutic environment and coordinate unit communications under the supervision of licensed personnel.
Requires a CNA certification or other healthcare certifications and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain it). Candidates must be flexible communicators comfortable with technological systems.
Assist patients and nursing staff in the Infusion Center along with assisting with Telehealth appointments as needed. Participates in the delivery of patient care services by providing direct and indirect care under the supervision of licensed personnel. Assists in meeting patient care needs through coordination of unit communications, management of patient information, and performance of tasks as directed by unit personnel. Promotes an atmosphere of calmness and professionalism to visitors, as well as all health team members, through a courteous, tactful, and discreet approach. Maintains a clean and organized and therapeutic patient environment. Provides transport. Assesses and provides the ongoing physical needs for the patient.
Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.
