Prepare examination rooms and position patients for complex invasive procedures using aseptic techniques. Support physicians in the cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology suites while maintaining equipment.
Requires a high school diploma and graduation from an accredited radiologic or cardiovascular technology school. Must hold ARRT certification and BLS, with ACLS required within 90 days.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required And Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology Required Or Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology Required And Associate's Degree in Applied Science Preferred 1 Year Experience as a radiologic technologist Preferred Or 1 Year Experience as a cardiovascular invasive specialist Highly Preferred American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required And General Medical Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from a Cardiovascular Accredited Program 6 Months Required And Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Only Upon Hire Required Or Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required
What You Will Do Patient Care such as preparing room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies)
Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing- Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest and assists physician with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
