Prepare specimens for transport to reference laboratories. Maintain records by filing hard copies, lab reports, and test result documentation. Ensure compliance with quality control and performance improvement procedures. Respond to incoming calls and serve as a primary liaison between the lab and client offices. Order and manage laboratory supply inventory. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the lab environment, including proper disposal of specimens. Assist with scheduling and coordination of non-technical staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Director or designee. QualificationsQualifications High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a laboratory setting. Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
