The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and performing clinical procedures like EKGs and phlebotomy. They also manage patient flow and maintain accurate real-time documentation within the EMR system.
Candidates should have strong organizational skills and proficiency with eClinicalWorks, with a preference for Medical Assistant certification. Experience with geriatric patients and confidence in phlebotomy are highly valued.
