Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings across multiple campuses. Act as a first responder for Code Blue and Level 1 traumas to manage critical airways.
Must be a graduate of an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia program with a valid CRNA license and MN state RN license. Required certifications include BLS, and either PALS or ACLS.

Department Overview The Anesthesia Department provides all types of anesthesia services to children on an inpatient and/or outpatient basis on the Minneapolis, St. Paul and West Campuses. Additional services include: Respiratory and airway management and professional consultation for patients requiring unusual pain management techniques or analgesic nerve blocks. In order to minimize patient anxiety and fear, parental involvement during the induction of anesthesia, whenever safely possible, is encouraged.

The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children’s Minnesota.
