The LPN provides direct patient care and administers medications under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include managing patient behavior, assisting with admissions and discharges, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited practical nursing school and hold a current LPN license in the State of Michigan. Previous psychiatric clinical experience and a basic understanding of psychiatric nursing theory are desired.
