The role involves managing acute and chronic health problems for adult patients through histories, physical exams, and diagnostic procedures. It requires collaborating with surgical subspecialties to provide team-based pre- and post-operative care in a rural hospital setting.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current LNP, RN, and DEA licenses. AHA BLS-HCP certification is required, while Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers, good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
