LPNs provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with behavior management under the direction of an RN. They are responsible for documenting treatments and partnering with staff to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing school and hold a current LPN license in the State of Michigan. Previous psychiatric clinical experience and a basic understanding of psychiatric nursing theory are desired.
