Advanced Practice Provider: Full Time | Salary

La Clinica Mobile Health Center and the OHRA Center

Join La Clinica and make a difference.

Build your career and find fulfillment in providing care that truly matters.

We believe you are more than an advanced practice provider, and we are more than a job.

As a federally qualified health center, La Clinica serves people who need us the most through exceptional, affordable, compassionate care.

We understand that to provide good care, our providers need to feel cared for too.

La Clinica promotes a healthy work-life balance, offering flexible scheduling options, comprehensive benefits, and wellness programs designed to support your overall well-being.

La Clinica welcomes providers with a deep sense of passion for the underserved. We value cultural diversity and teamwork, and we love our patients and enthusiastically treat them with the same care, respect, and dignity that we would our friends, family, and neighbors because that is who they are.

  • We are in Southern Oregon, nestled between the Cascade and Siskiyou mountains. The Rogue Valley and surrounding area in Southern Oregon offer:
  • Breathtaking natural scenery
  • Extensive trail systems and large parks with rivers and lakes
  • A quick trip of just a few hours to the beauty and recreational opportunities of the Oregon coast
  • Local cuisine, microbrews, and wine
  • Mild climate year-round that’s drier than Eugene and Portland
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Vibrant arts and entertainment activities

Friendly communities make this an ideal region for setting down roots and building a community in a new home. Whether you want to be in the cultural capital of Ashland, bustling Medford, or out in the country with more land, the southern part of the state has much to offer to young families and people looking for the perfect place to retire. Most of the area has a rural feel, and even the larger cities have a small-town spirit with tight-knit communities and plenty of local character making them some of the best places to live in Southern Oregon.

Position Details

We are in search of experienced, dynamic advanced practice providers to join our Outreach team. As a primary care medical home, we serve 28,000 patients annually throughout our seven health care centers, dental clinic, and mobile health center. We are an innovative non-profit organization, with the focus on providing exceptional health care to all who have barriers to care and include integrative behavioral and dental health care in our practices.

At all our primary care sites, our multi-disciplinary teams focus on providing excellent medical care and supporting our patients' emotional and social needs, both adults and children. These teams include a mix of physicians, family nurse practitioners, physician associates, integrated behavioral health team, nurses, MAs, registration personnel, and team leads. Each team has a clinical leader, and our practice also employs a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Our primary care sites provide outpatient services with no inpatient or obstetrical responsibilities.

This role will work on our Mobile Health Center (various sites) and at the OHRA Center (Ashland, OR), which focuses on serving our most vulnerable community members and reaching those who are unable to gain access to our health centers. This is a unique opportunity that will make a great impact to our community. This role will require regular travel to different sites within Jackson County.
