The Medication Aide is responsible for administering routine medications and documenting the process according to policy. They also provide general resident care and report any medication errors or resident concerns to nursing leadership.
Candidates must be able to accurately prepare and administer oral and topical medications while following physician orders. The role requires completing mandatory training and performing caregiver or CNA duties when not passing medications.
The Medication Aide / Tech administers routine medications and documents administration per policy while supporting resident care and reporting concerns to nursing leadership.
