The Assessor is responsible for the completion of the Global Appraisal of Individual Needs assessment. The Assessor must possess thorough understanding of ASAM, Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders.
Must complete at least three assessments per day .
Must possess strong writing skills
Complete domestic violence assessments when appropriate .
Place patients in appropriate level of care .
Must have strong computer skills
The candidate should be able to manage their time in a way that would ensure quality and productivity measures.
Triage with other professionals to ensure comprehensive quality care for the patient.
Work with admissions counselor to schedule patient's admission.
Coordinate patient's attendance to pre-treatment groups .
Other duties as required for effective team work or as assigned by Supervisor.
