• Per Diems shall be required to work 1 major and 2 minor holidays per year & 4 weekend days (Saturday or Sunday) per 3 month period of time.
• A weekend is defined as a Saturday or Sunday.
• Major and Minor Holidays are defined as: major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) and two (2) other holidays throughout the year if and as needed by the Medial Center.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performance of all patient MRI imaging procedures and all patient safety protocols.
• Functions as the first line interface with customer accounts in the successful accomplishments of their imaging needs.

• The compensation range for the role is $49.02 - $57.65 hourly.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum
• Experience:
• Two years
• MRI experience desirable
• Required
• Certification/Registration: Required Licensed in Radiologic Technology by New York State. ARRT, RT (R)(MR) or Required ARRT-RT and completion of ARRT verified MRI training program with documented completion of didactic and clinical competency. Must obtain MRI Registry (ARRT-MR) within 18 months of hire NYS DOH Injection license preferred, required within 90 days from date of hire. Must have active and ongoing BLS.

• Hazards: Works inside. Can be exposed to disagreeable odors, and infection. Contact with patients, physicians, department employees, and hospital departments, such as nursing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking.
