Overview Intake Nurse - Transfer Center Full-time

• 9a-9:30p, every 3rd weekend rotation
• Onsite: Des Moines, IA - Corporate Office
• Not Bedside or Direct Patient Care We are seeking a Transfer Center Intake Nurse to serve in a high-impact role as the first point of contact for providers seeking patient admission to UnityPoint Health. This position coordinates provider communication, triages transfer requests, facilitates patient placement, and supports transfers to higher levels of care when needed. Success in this role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and technologies while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety.
