AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) to provide expert OB/GYN healthcare services to patients at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP). The NPs will conduct physical exams, take health histories, provide prenatal and postnatal care, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and provide education and support on women’s health issues. This role involves close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff in a team-based environment focused on women’s reproductive health.
• Master’s degree in nursing
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Recent experience providing OB/GYN or women's health care
• Current, active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. state or territory
• Must pass a background check and credentialing (up to 90 days processing)
