Setting: Travel assignment in a hospital-based, rural critical access environment
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive respiratory care across the ED, ICU, Med/Surg, OB/L&D, and swing-bed services; solo RT coverage on shift
Ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive), NIV, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
ABG collection/interpretation, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, and pulse oximetry interpretation
Airway management support including intubation assist, extubation, and tracheostomy care/management
Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care including NRP and pediatric/umbilical gas considerations; mask fitting and routine respiratory treatments
Documentation in Epic with accurate, timely charting and care plans
Requirements
Active Oregon RRT license
Minimum 3 years RT experience; candidates meeting the 3-year requirement will be considered even if traveling for the first time
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
EPIC charting experience required for submission
Ability to work in a hospital setting across ED, ICU, Med/Surg, OB/L&D, and swing-bed programming
On assignment vehicle required
On weekends: approximately every other weekend; no on-call requirement
Preferred: community hospital and LTAC experience
