Overview CT Technologist (Radiology) needed for a travel - temporary assignment in an outpatient imaging department within a hospital setting, located in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date June 22, 2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,665–$2,812 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week.

Responsibilities
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including bone densitometry, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, in an outpatient setting.
Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort; communicate procedures to patients and obtain cooperation as needed.
Maintain image quality and accurate documentation in the patient record; adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging staff to coordinate procedures and ensure timely patient care.
Participate in routine quality assurance and equipment checks as assigned.
Requirements
Experience operating CT imaging equipment and producing diagnostic-quality images
Ability to perform bone densitometry, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as part of imaging procedures
Comfortable working in an outpatient imaging department within a hospital setting
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work daytime shifts, 40 hours per week
