Directs and implements clinical pharmacy services while providing expert consultation to medical staff on cost-effective therapeutic alternatives. Responsible for documenting medication interventions, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Requires a Pharm.D. degree with either two years of inpatient clinical pharmacy experience or the completion of a Pharmacy Residency. Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Louisiana, with board certification in a specialty area preferred.
