The SLP is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders through thorough assessments and individualized treatment plans. They collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care and educate patients and families on coping strategies.
Candidates must hold an active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Tennessee. Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is considered a plus.
