Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and facilitate image storage in the PACS system under the direction of radiologists. Assist physicians by administering contrast media and maintaining equipment and supply inventory.
Must be a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registered with the ARRT, with a current BLS certification. One year of previous experience is preferred.

Position Overview Performs diagnostic imaging procedures as requested by the ordering physicians and under the direction of the radiologist as well as facilitates image storage in the PACS system according to the procedures and protocols approved by GMC. Also assists physicians and Radiologist in performing examinations by administering /providing contrast media and assisting with procedures as needed.
Required: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Current BLS certification required.
One year of previous experience preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology. Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use computerized radiologic equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes. Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff. Incumbents must be able to work stand-by and call-back duty and respond to a call within 20 minutes. Physical Requirements Prolonged standing, reaching, and bending Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Physical strength and agility to position patients for a variety of diagnostic examinations. Good vision, hearing, and communication skills
