The LPN is responsible for administering nursing care and medications while assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring. They must also maintain working knowledge of endoscopy room equipment and procedures.
Candidates must have graduated from a practical nursing school and hold a current VA LPN license. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

The Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of functions. They are responsible for administering nursing care, medications and assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring as designated by the supervising or ordering physician.
Additional requirements include: Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required
Current VA LPN license required
BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire
