Develop and implement Individual Program Plans to restore function and independence for patients with neurological disorders. Supervise physical therapy assistants and collaborate with healthcare professionals to maximize patient care and outcomes.
Requires a Master's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred) and a valid Texas license to practice. Must hold current CPR and First Aid certifications and possess the physical ability to assist and lift patients.
Hold current CPR and First Aid Certifications. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with patients. Ability to carry out physical aspects of direct service in treatment and evaluation. Ability to monitor mobility of patients. Ability to interpret data and recommend realistic patient goals for accomplishment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Physical ability to break the fall of a patient.
Masters Degree Required; Prefer Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Graduation from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas.
