Provide individual and group psychological services and clinical management for clients and families at an eating disorder treatment center. Responsibilities include creating treatment plans, facilitating group sessions, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Requires a Master's degree and an Alabama license (MFT, LPC, LCSW, or PhD) or progress toward licensure. Preference is given to candidates with two years of family therapy experience, including one year in an eating disorder recovery setting.

Relationships and Contacts Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients, families, Management, Clinical Director, facility leadership, peers and vendors. Outside the organization: May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, referral partners, families and vendors as needed and directed Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the clinical management of his/her assigned clients and family. Provide mediation-therapeutic intervention for clients and families, either in groups or individually. Assists in identification of treatment/contract goals for clients and families. Responsible for maintaining contact with the assigned clients referring/outpatient therapist, their Magnolia Creek therapist and the clients family. Maintains client records and creates treatment plans for the family regarding the clients recovery. Assists clients and families with setting goals and oversees the clients complete therapy program regarding the family. Assists with completing a weekly privilege list and a bi-weekly treatment plan for clients/families. Provides ongoing clinical documentation in the EMR for continued Utilization Review. Meets with client or client and family at least once a week to help explore identified issues and behaviors in relationship to current symptoms and recovery. Plans and attends family workshops to assist in the recovery of the client and their family. Attends group meetings, meals and other activities in the milieu to better establish a relationship with clients. Facilitates group sessions with clients and families regarding treatment goals, and recovery (up to 3 groups per week). Provides comprehensive understanding of current behaviors and relational dynamics while using a variety of therapeutic modalities. Attends the weekly team meetings and share observations, comments and important information about clients with the treatment team. Responsible for proper charting and ensuring that all documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Assists in meal/snack supervision as assigned and attends special occasion activities for the clients. Assists with discharge planning, including a written discharge summary and obtaining referral sources and necessary support systems for clients and families once the client is discharged. May serve as a preceptor to graduate students while they are completing an internship at Magnolia Creek, depending on credentials and/or licensure. Other Requirements Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
