The technician is responsible for the preparation and analysis of tissue slides, including embedding, cutting, staining, and grossing specimens. They also maintain laboratory instrumentation, establish SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience in GLP-compliant pre-clinical tissue processing. Experience in a veterinary pathology CRO and the ability to differentiate colors on stained slides are highly desired.

The Histology Technician will be responsible for day-to-day activities involving the collection and preparation of tissues for microscopic evaluation.
$24.00-$28.00/hour, depending upon experience.
