Description

This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum MD in Vascular Surgery, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with vascular conditions, performing surgeries, and working closely with our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care we provide.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose patients with vascular disorders Perform surgical procedures related to vascular surgery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Provide education and support to patients and their families Maintain accurate and timely medical records Stay updated with advancements in vascular surgery techniques Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license to practice in the relevant state Experience in vascular surgery preferred Strong diagnostic and surgical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts per month

Patient Volume: 5 per shift

Patient Population: Adults

Will manage cardiothoracic and vascular patients

Support Staff: APPs and nurses

EMR: eCW and Meditech Expanse

Must be board-certified
