Description

This contract position is on-site, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced medical professionals to contribute to high-quality patient care in the medical practice industry.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized surgical care to our patients. Your expertise in both cardiothoracic and vascular surgery will be invaluable as you collaborate with our dedicated healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures Assess and evaluate patient conditions and treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records Participate in surgical rounds and case discussions Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care

Requirements

Medical degree (MD) with a specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia Experience as a surgical resident or practicing associate Strong clinical and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement Knowledge of current best practices and surgical techniques

Call coverage

Patient Volume: 5 per shift

Support Staff: APP, MAs, and RNs

EMR: eCW and Meditech Expanse

Must be board-certified
