Clarvida is seeking a Family Support Specialist to work directly with families raising a child who experiences a severe and persistent mental illness or emotional disturbance. In this role, you will engage caregivers in goal-focused treatment planning, help connect them to community resources, provide education, teach resiliency skills, and support families in developing self-advocacy and long-term stability. This position also draws on your lived experience to help families feel understood and empowered.
● Meet with families to assess needs and support treatment planning ● Provide coaching, emotional support, and skill-building ● Link families to appropriate community resources and services ● Share relevant lived experience to promote trust and connection ● Support caregivers in developing advocacy and problem-solving skills ● Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
